DESCRIPTION
This is another I rigged and animated s part of my contract Technical Animator position with T'sarE Studios. This character features several unique controls and rigging systems. Including stretchy limbs and unique IK/FK systems built into the arms all to facilitate the "puppet" movement of this character. The rig and animations were created in Maya and designed to be game engine ready.

DESCRIPTION
Yesterlandia is an Indie game project in active early development. It is being developed by DePaul's D.O.G.S studio. I served as the lead technical artist for the project during the last year. The project is currently still in the early pre production stages. As Lead Technical Artist (and the sole 3D artist at current), I was responsible for a number of rolls. Including character visual development, prototyping, rigging, texturing and animation. I also worked on visual development for other parts of the game, in the form of shaders for the characters and parts of the environment, and lighting tests for the main menu.

This started as a class project for a character animation project. I wanted to experiment and practice getting a character set up, animated, and prepped for gameplay animation. I made a full animation library for Azri, set up an animation blueprint and state machine in Unreal Engine. The animation is a little rough around the edges, but this was an interesting project for testing game character animation and implementation. In this video you can see several of the animations along with some the in engine tests

I recently had the opportunity to test out an Xsens motion capture suit thanks to my University. I got familiar with the calibration and recording process. As well as exporting, cleaning up, and retargeting animations in Motion Builder. This is a short highlight reel of some of the work I did with it.

This was an assignment in which students designed an idea pitch for a show, and then had to create an opening for another student's idea. Galant was pitched as a fantasy world, where magic and mythical creatures and legends are real. And a hero must go on a quest to save their kingdom. That pitch is is what inspired me to make this opening.

"The evolution of E-Sports" was my editing class final for my 2019 – Sophomore year at DePaul University. We were tasked with composing and editing a project about something we are passionate about. I chose to feature the growth of E-Sports, primarily in the scope of League of Legends and RIOT as a mover and shaker in this industry. My goal was to showcase some standout moments and personalities which show how the industry was shaping up to gain sustainable growth.

During High School I was a member of the school’s Media Club. During my Senior year Josten’s - the company for our graduation rings - approached us to produce a small promotional Ad for them. Our team handled all communications, specifications and delivery between our team and the Josten’s P.R. representative. I wrote the script, co-directed the project and did the editing, to produce this final project for them.
